We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

Road trip!

After her Commencement ceremony last year, Anneka Buehler ’13 and her dad, Mark Buehler ’80, set off from campus in two Mini Coopers affectionately named “The Smurf of Death” and “Bruiser.” The goal: to get Anneka and four years’ worth of accumulated college stuff back home to California before she began her work with AmeriCorps. Their trip (including some great shots of campus) was recently highlighted in Roundel, the magazine of the BMW Car Club of America.

In a fun feature story, the father-daughter duo recount the journey, detailing the best restaurants along the way, and believe it or not, a running tally of roadkill (though we should point out that they were just doing the counting, not the killing).

The Roundel staff has kindly shared the piece with us, so you, too, could tag along on this epic road trip. Click the image below to view a PDF version of the magazine story.
