They’ve done it again

It’s a now a two-year-old tradition to use lip dub video as a way of announcing the guest artists who will be performing at D-Day. This year’s video was a huge undertaking with more than 300 students (and a cameo by President Weinberg) participating in the nearly eight-minute performance of songs by indie duo Matt and Kim, D-Day’s headline act. It’s really quite the performance, but you can judge that for yourself.

D-Day will take place next week, Oct. 25, but Matt and Kim won’t be the only performers taking the stage on the Reese~Shackelford Common. A five-hour D-Day music festival will also include student performers — dancers, a cappella groups, and student bands — as well as rapper Hoodie Allen.

And if you weren’t around last year, or if you just want to relive the magic, check out last year’s lip dub announcing Mike Posner as the featured D-Day entertainer.
