We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

One day without shoes

TOMS Shoes, a company launched in 2006, matches every pair of shoes sold with a new pair given to a child in need. The company calls it the “One for One Movement.” Last Tuesday, Denison students joined supporters of the movement worldwide and ditched their shoes for “One Day Without Shoes” to spread awareness about the impact that a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life. In this photo, students are recording their participation by adding their footprints to a banner to be displayed in Slayter.
