We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

Granville: the place to be

We sure think Granville is a lovely place, but apparently, the editors of Midwest Living magazine think so, too. Even in the dead of winter. The magazine sent a writer to visit the village after receiving a letter from one of their readers, Pam Kirst, who wrote to tell them that Granville is an ideal place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

“She mentions the town’s historic inns and village green but then confesses her real reason for going to Granville … is to eat chocolate and read books,” writes Cynthia Earhart in the magazine’s February issue. “We put down her note, looked out at the miserably gray sky and thought, Sold.”

Among Midwest Living‘s favorite parts of Granville were Petali Teas, Readers Garden, Kussmaul Gallery, and yes, Denison.
