We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

Home for the holidays

Perhaps nothing better symbolizes the strong connection between Denison’s hilltop campus and the Village of Granville than Monomoy Place, situated near the center of town. And right now, the historic home is all dressed up for the holidays.

With paintings from the Denison Museum and many furnishings that have been gifts over the generations from alumni and friends of the college, the president’s residence has been lovingly cared for and often is used for special events at Denison.

President and Mrs. Knobel invited us in to see the warm holiday beauty of the place, including the decorations that have very special meaning for them, like the Texas tree and the Breast Cancer Awareness tree. So just in case you’ve never been inside during one of Granville’s Candlelight Walking Tours—here’s a glimpse of the season at Monomoy Place.
