We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

Remembering 9/11

This weekend, Denisonians honored the memories of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001, with activities across the campus and beyond. Volunteer students cleaned up a section of the Licking River and tended the Community Gardens in Newark. Others staffed a family night for the community, showing the movie Wall-E, and worked with Licking Memorial Hospital to provide free health screenings. And Sunday evening, at an interfaith service of healing and peace, Swasey Chapel echoed with the music of a 60-voice community choir singing Gabriel Fauré's "Requiem," featuring soloists Kevin Wines, tenor, Belinda Andrews-Smith, soprano, and Andy Carlson, violin, all members of the faculty of Denison's Department of Music.
