We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

The nominations are in

On September 18, two Denison graduates will be smoothing out their tuxes in preparation for the 63rd annual Emmy Awards show, to be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Christian Homlish ’03

Christian Homlish ’03 will be there to see if the show he produces, Top Chef, takes home the grand prize in the “Outstanding Reality-Competition” category, while Steve Carell ’84 is up for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” for his role as Michael Scott, the quirky boss of The Office’s Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. Carell will join his former cast members (he appeared in his final episode back in April) to see if the all-star comedy group takes the golden trophy for “Outstanding Comedy Series.”

With the nominations announced last week and more than a month before the ceremony, that gives the rest of us plenty of time to stream every tense Top Chef-chop and every awkward Michael Scott moment from last season before we curl up on couches across the country, hoping to see one of our own take the stage.
