We're moving!

We're moving our new stories to Denison.edu, the college's super-sweet mothership. Over time, we'll be moving some of our best past stories from TheDEN over there too. In the meantime, we've made available an archive of all stories here. This archive will be available for a few months before this site is permanently shut down. See you at Denison.edu! - June 2016

One treed hill

Denisonians already know this, but we’ll say it anyway: this hilltop campus is a lovely, leafy, woodsy place.

And now it’s official, because the Arbor Day Foundation has awarded Denison its Tree Campus USA distinction.

The Tree Campus USA program is an initiative designed to award national recognition to college campuses for promoting healthy urban forest management and engaging the campus community in environmental stewardship.

To celebrate, here’s a photo gallery of some of our favorite trees, with a little bit of everything—spring’s buds in purple; summer’s million shades of green; fall’s burning reds, and winter’s branches white with snow.
