In today’s fix of Denisonia, it’s all about alums. We’ve got oneĀ  pondering the state of U.S. education, another planting bluegrass seeds in NYC, and still another talking business with that whippersnapper from Facebook.

Failing schools, educators challenged by new film

Ashleigh Fritz ’07, a sixth grade teacher at Houston’s YES Prep, rocks a Denison t-shirt while giving an interview about her charter school. While at Denison, Fritz majored in economics, served as ambassador of the Paving the Way pre-orientation program, and won a Distinguished Leadership Award.

Bluegrass in the Big Apple
