We’re always hunting down interesting Denison-related content on the interwebs, and, periodically, we’ll share the best of this content with you on TheDEN. In today’s fix of Denisonia, it’s all about alums. We’ve got one pondering the state of U.S. education, another planting bluegrass seeds in NYC, and still another talking business with that whippersnapper from Facebook.
Ashleigh Fritz ’07, a sixth grade teacher at Houston’s YES Prep, rocks a Denison t-shirt while giving an interview about her charter school. While at Denison, Fritz majored in economics, served as ambassador of the Paving the Way pre-orientation program, and won a Distinguished Leadership Award.
Cara Scarmack ’05, a theatre and communication major while at Denison, performs as one-half of the bluegrass-folk duo The Wildwood Sisters. Check out their official MySpace page for audio and video. (Props to Patricia DiFranco ’06 for the tip)
